Victor Alimpiev

Russia

Victor Alimpiev is an video artist who has exbited widely in Russia and in the West. In his videoworks Victor Alimpiev combines elements of diverse artistic genres like painting, dance, music and theatre with the moving image.
In his films and videos Alimpijev investigates human expression, habits, and the relationship of the individual to the collective.

Born in Moscow in 1973
Graduated from the Art School of memory of 1905, Moscow and “New Art Strategies” at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Moscow.
