It is hardly surprising that through the ages artists have reflected on society’s view on its citizens’ normative physicality. One of the international artists that have pursued this theme is Magnus Wallin, who, in a brilliant way, has analyzed/visualized and deconstructed the underlying seemingly innocent signs hidden in ideological power aspirations. Magnus Wallin established himself in the end of the 1990s and has attained international success with his art that reflects both on the media and cultural history. His work includes 3D animations, which expand into independent and spatial video installations.
